May or Leadsom.
MAY or LEADSOM!
Johnson says this is a sign that the Tories are progressive.
I’m sorry, there must be some lack in my education, some gap due to the lack of being privately schooled.
A choice which will be made by 150,000 Conservative members. So much for the British public taking back control.
May, an appalling Home Secretary, the woman who will use EU nationals as pawns in Brexit negotiations, who plans to be “bloody difficult,” who thought the immigration vans were a good idea, who wants access to our emails, website histories, etc..
Voted AGAINST introducing gay marriage, adoption, reducing the age of consent, laws which promote equality & human rights, against the hunting ban, allowing end of life assistance for the terminally ill, FOR the Iraq war and other military interventions, for replacing Trident, against strengthening the Military Covenant (you can die for us, but don’t expect any help if you are injured), “bedroom tax”, AGAINST raising benefits in line with prices or for those with longer term illnesses, AGAINST spending money to create guaranteed jobs for the young long term unemployed, AGAINST measures to prevent climate change, greater regulation on fracking, FOR badger culls, selling off England’s state owned forests, lower fuel taxes…..and it goes on and on and on.
Then we have Angela Leadsom, who when becoming the Energy & Climate Change Minister asked if climate change was real, the woman backed by Farage who is thought to be able to return UKIP voters to the Tories. Whose CV appears to have had the IDS polish. Who wants to bring back fox hunting (yup that’s the priority right now)
She’s only been in Parliament for 6 years so hasn’t had the opportunity to
crush hopes & dreams vote as much as Theresa May but in that time she has voted AGAINST laws to promote equality and human rights, allowing end of life assistance for the terminally ill, FOR use of UK military forces in combat operations overseas, replacing Trident, AGAINST strengthening the Military Covenant, FOR “bedroom tax.” AGAINST raising benefits in line with prices or for those with longer term illnesses, AGAINST spending money to create guaranteed jobs for the young long term unemployed, FOR increasing the rate of VAT, higher taxes on alcoholic drinks, lower taxes on fuel for motor vehicles, AGAINST increasing the tax rate applied to income over £150,000, a banker’s bonus tax, mansion tax, FOR allowing employees to exchange some employment rights for shares in the company they work for, more restrictive regulation of trade union activity, reducing the rate of corporation tax.
As for the march in support of her becoming PM. Er what? People march AGAINST the Tories, which is probably why they are so shit at taking part in one. Now if it was walk over the masses I’m sure they would have had a more enthusiastic attempt.
Seriously, I have got to the stage where swearing has lost all point. I have run out of “Fucks” and not in a good way. How have we got to this position?
