I saw this today: Corbyn: ‘We shouldn’t have hungry children in Scotland’.
One farmer in Fife said he dumped enough vegetables to “feed 15,000 people for a year”
It’s been a busy few days politically, so where to begin?
The big story was going to be the Cabinet shuffle. It ended up less of a shuffle, more a misdeal. Honestly just when you think the line up of the Cabinet can’t get any worse, May manages to do it.
Slight variation this time because it’s getting me down doing this every day.
This current Tory line up is the most venal, mendacious, cruel and yet at the same time most inept government I have had the misfortune to live under it. Yet it feels like they are called to account more by their DUP partners and right-wing backbenchers than they are by the “official” opposition.
Well what can I say? 18 months of bluffing, hyperbole and downright lies the first phase of the Brexit agreements have taken place and what has happened?
Pretty much bugger all.
The EU has set terms and May has accepted them. So much for taking back control etc.
Day 5; this is definitely turning into a thing.
Today’s post is another on Brexit. Ruth Davidson has made her statement (though not an interview – wouldn’t want any awkward questions)
