For obvious reasons I’ve not had much time to check the news/social media these last few days but fuck me it feels like Twitter has been saving up the crazy. I only registered Torrance had written his article again in the last hour.
Monday morning, I expected the usual routine of ignoring Torrance’s latest regurgitation of his article, but no Scottish Twitter was buzzing over something else…
I’m back, refreshed and relaxed from a few days away. AND I’m going to try to stay that way for a little longer.
I’ve not felt like writing these last couple of days, the piece I had started on the Referendum scaremongering (both sides) seems trite after what has happened. But to say nothing? It is impossible to gloss over what has happened.
I dunno, I spend days not being able to think of anything to write, then do 3 in 2 days. I had a conversation with Philip Sim of the BBC earlier after seeing this tweet.
I thought I’d been a slacker and not written for a week; it’s only 5 days but feels like much longer (what do you mean “Hurray!”?) Even the husband has asked when I’m doing the next one – I think he thinks it’s good for me or I’ve possibly been ranting at him more than usual.
I really must be I read Torrance’s article yesterday and then today I tried to read Daisley. The joy of the block button means I get to miss the majority of his analysis & “witticisms” but occasionally one gets through. Today’s offering via STV was tweeted with the comment “She may have brought the SNP to heel but what now for Ruth Davidson MSP, asks Journo Stephen?”
